P.S: Since i joined late so I'm posting some of my left out work.

Poster Re-make (presentation)

Logo for my magazine

Since the genre of my magazine is gaming, I named my magazine 'consoletion'. I made my logo on illustrator and this is the first first picture of it.

The circles gives an idea/impression that it's a gaming magazine. If we see the controller of a PlayStation, the buttons resemble and this gives us an idea that it's a gaming magazine.

This is my logo. The name and the colors itself portrays that it's a gaming magazine. I think there are no gaming magazines in Pakistan that's why it has a tagline of 'Pakistan's only gaming magazine'.

Font: Myriad Hebrew. (Name and tagline)

Adobe illustrator - Eden Hazard

Since i'm new to media studies, I recently learned how to make an illustration on Adobe illustrator. I took a picture of the famous football player 'Eden Hazard'.

I made an outline using the pentool and then used the dropper to fill the color like this I did the whole picture. This isn't the final illustration.

This is the final illustration, since i'm new to it and I hadn't used Adobe illustrator I think it's pretty nice.

Intertextuality

Intertextuality is a sophisticated literary device used in writing. In fact, it is a textual reference within some text that reflects the text used as a reference. Instead of employing referential phrases from different literary works, intertextuality  draws upon the concept, rhetoric or ideology from other texts to be merged in the new text. It may be the retelling of an old story, or you may rewrite the popular stories in modern context for instance, James Joyce retells The Odyssey in his very famous novel Ulysses.
This picture from Family Guy is one of the many examples of intertextuality.

Verisimilitude

In a literary work, verisimilitude is likeness to the truth i.e. resemblance of a fictitious work to a real event even if it is a far-fetched one.
Verisimilitude ensures that even a fantasy must be rooted in reality, which means that events should be plausible to the extent that readers consider them credible enough to be able to relate them somehow to their experiences of real life
There are a vast amount of examples of verisimilitude
e.g:
The world of Batman The Dark Knight series is a pure example of verisimilitude.

Poster Re-created

I was tasked to recreate a poster of "Forrest Gump" and vola! here it is:
It's not so similar but somehow manages to satisfy the objective given by our teacher.
It may not look like it but composing such a copy of the poster was hard work, first I was asked to model for the poster thus I wore a Black suit and copied the stance of the original poster, once we had the picture all that our poster task required was some good editing which (as you can see in the poster above) was executed brilliantly by my group member "Saqib".We used adobe illustrator for the editing and designing the poster which resulted in our poster task finally being fulfilled.

This is the original picture taken in our school's premises:
P.S: Sorry we made a mistake in the spellings it should be "Forrest" not Forest

Main fonts used in the title of this poster are "Serif Font" however the details are written in "Sans Serif Font"
We will be searching similar fonts to use in our poster

To execute this task we need some props like a suite case and a formal dress
I will be bringing the dress while 'Razim" will be bringing the suite case to take a simillar picture like the one in the poster."Saqib" will be handling the designing process
